DIY Pyramid Garden Planter From Old Pallets
This planter will only take you a couple of hours to make if you know your way around a power tool. The design is fairly straight forward and only requires a minimal level of woodworking experience.
Tools you will probably need for this project are, a square, carpenters pencil, drill with a spade bit, and a tennon saw, (although any saw will do) a chisel and some sand paper (at various grits) will also come in handy to clean up the joints.
This is a great project to take on one weekend and can really transform your garden and give you space to grow some different types of vegetables or maybe a herb garden. Check out the step by step over at Instructables.
You can usually pick up pallets from local shops (especially produce stores) or check on craigslist or gumtree and you will find some free or very cheap options.
